Blessings for the Hebrew Month of Tevet
The Tenth Month of the Hebrew Year

This is the prayer/blessing guide for Tevet, the tenth month of the Hebrew year. Be blessed as you read, pray through, and declare these blessings for yourself and your family.

Tevet is the 10th month on the Hebrew calendar… 10 is a number of divine order … 10 is also 5 + 5… five being the number of grace or in this case a double portion of grace. This month walk in the double portion of grace available for you… choose to walk in the fullness, in the grace that Jesus made available for us. He paid it all so that you could have it all! It’s a free gift (Eph 2:8).
The first two letters in the word Tevet is “tov” which is the Hebrew word for good and it is followed by the letter tet which is also a letter connected to the word good…. so the word Tevet from beginning to end is a word full of God’s goodness.

But this month, Tevet, let’s declare it as a month of God’s goodness from beginning to end.. allowing Him to lavish us with His goodness, His grace and His favor.

Tribe: DAN
This tribe is linked with judging, growing up, and maturing.
Genesis 49:16–18.
Samson came from the tribe of Dan (Judg. 13:2).
Samson didn’t mature, and therefore failed to reach his potential.
God intends us to be able to judge/lead, and to be able to cause the enemy to fall backward. God wants us to grow up and mature.
Declare that you are maturing.
Samson’s weakness was basically an inability to say “no” to his flesh; he put his desires above his calling and vows. Judg. 13:4–5; In Judges 14:9,
He obviously should have run from Delilah, but his flesh kept him coming back. Gradually, she wore him down and he finally he told her the secret of his strength: that he was Nazarite and that his hair had never been shaved (Judg. 16:10–21).
His great gifting didn’t have the impact it could have.
Declare over yourself that God is gifting you and that you take that gifting seriously.
Dan’s ensign was the eagle!
Dan is one who can see the prey afar off‭ ‬-‭ the ‬one who soars on high in the Spirit and get the heavenly perspective on things.‭
‬His judgement takes in the full scope of the scene and from his viewpoint,‭ ‬he is able to objectively give good direction and accurate assessments of situations.‭ ‬As a result,‭ ‬he is called to judge Israel.‭ Let’s judge correctly this month… soaring on wings of Eagles and judging things through God’s eyes of love and mercy, of goodness….. of grace.
Ask God to cleanse and purify you so that there are no fleshly hindrances keeping you from fulfilling your destiny.

Ending of Hanukkah. In the midst of destruction there is mercy. (This festival means “the light will not go out.” It was celebrated in hopes that the destroyed temple would be rebuilt.) No matter what your problems are, God always has a way to impart mercy to build for the future. Look at every difficult situation you are currently in and declare that God has mercy and light for you in the midst of those circumstances.
Review your education, or what is initiating you into your next phase. Sign up for a course, or get some sort of training if you need it. Make sure you are advancing and moving ahead, following the leading of the Holy Spirit.
“Be angry, and do not sin” (Eph. 4:26). Emotions have a fine line. If you cross that line, your whole soul gets damaged and the promise of God won’t manifest.
In Ephesians 4:26–27, anger is equated with being demonized. Note the suddenness of anger. If we don’t learn how to process anger properly so that our emotions are under the Holy Spirit’s control, we will erupt and will fail when the test comes. Deal with your anger; God will give opportunities to do so. So, when you have time, deal with it.
Consume the word of God—build yourself up.

Constellation (group of stars):

Capricorn, the goat, hind’s feet on high places (2 Sam. 22:34; Ps. 18:33; Hab. 3:19). This means God is enabling us to go to higher and higher places in Him.
Declare that you are moving up.
Time to leap like a goat (deer). We all have areas of immaturity. Often, we think of growing or maturing as a very slow process. The idea here is that we can “leap” quickly to a state of maturity. God wants us to “leap” out of the areas of immaturity. It’s also a chance every year to share your testimony. How did you get offended last year—is it still the same as this year? “The lame shall leap like a deer” (Isa. 35:6). “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me on my high places (Ps. 18:33).

Hebrew Alphabet:

The month of Hebrew letter ayin [ע]. This means “Let your good eye see.”
Matthew 5:8, which states, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Purity of heart leads to purity of the eyes of our heart (the good eye).
A month to war and to break the power of evil watchers (if you don’t break that power, it will try to manipulate you).
In Acts 13, Barnabas and Paul were hindered by Elymas the sorcerer. Paul prayed, and the Lord struck Elymas with blindness.
Similarly, we can pray and ask the Lord to close the eyes of the enemy so that we aren’t hindered.
In 2 Kings 6, Elisha prayed for the eyes of his servant to be opened; that servant was then able to see the angelic army protecting them. Elisha prayed again and the enemy army was blinded.
A time to pray for our leaders. Many strategies begin to be released at this time.
Be sure to pray for your spiritual covering, as well as for the political leaders of your nation.

Declarations for the month of Tevet:
God is good and He wants to lavish me with His goodness and abundance.
This month of Tevet is full of goodness, grace and favor from beginning to end
This month I look at my circumstances through my Father’s eyes… eyes full of faith and hope.
This month I walk in a double portion of grace!
This month I see others through the eyes of love, grace and redemption… seeing them as the Father sees them.
This season, God’s glory is my rearguard… He is creating in me His most artistic work, speaking over me with beautiful words and causing me to flourish in the land.
This season, I soar in the Spirit and get the Heavenly perspective on things.
This season I judge correctly, judging things through God’s eyes of love and mercy, of goodness….. of grace.
